We have had some unexpectedly early snow here ;o; At about 1am my housemate came up to my bedroom door and whispered "Rebecca it's snowing!!!!". So the both of us ran outside and made a giant snowman with a couple of random guys from the estate :"D It was magical~ although the snowman was knocked down shortly after we made it ;__;

Here is a terrible rendition of what our estate looks like in the snow. Was also testing out Paint tool SAI for the first time <3


Also got Sonic Colours a few weeks ago. I beat it in about a weekend, which is the fastest I've beaten a game in a long time ;_; Anyways, I loved it, it was so gorgeous and charming <3 I'm glad I started playing Sonic again when they finally started making decent 3D Sonic games...


Been listening to the Touhou 6 soundtrack a lot. Patchouli is my new favourite <3

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt fanart. I think I love and hate this series in equal parts, so much so that the two seem to just cancel each other out. I think the overall design and the fact it's by Gainax constitute a lot of the love part...

Spent a lot of last night watching bits of old Digimon and Sailor Moon episodes which induced some serious nostlagia tripping...




Angewomon and Lilymon were among my very favourite Digimon. Angewomon's design is so ridiculously busy but somehow it still works in the series...




Never got as far as Sailor Cosmos in the series but I always thought she looked pretty cool.

Also had a dream last night which I don't remember much of but one thing I do remember is that it involved Shadow the Hedgehog wearing half moon glasses. And that he needed them for reading. God that is so Deviantart...

My sleeping pattern is set somewhere between summer and back-to-school...feels not so good man...

Pre-production is due next week. Might put up one or two storyboards I like later on... For now, here's a title page. The colours are a little dull, stupid computer monitors...

I have a feeling drawing Sonic fanart will be a source of stress relief from grad film/thesis work this year. I can't decide whether that's a good or a bad thing...


Sonic galz, Bunnie, Sally and Nicole, based mostly on their current comic designs. Nicole is like the Miku Hatsune of the comics now I think, only with -10 singing ability and +10 intelligence.

First Pitch stuff

So we had our first grad film pitches today. Here's a couple of concepty things I presented.

In a nutshell, my film is an alternative telling of Red Riding Hood involving the wolf mafia. I'll leave it at that for now but guarantee more later...

Yesterday a few of us went to the Natural History Museum. It was totally awsum~

I was originally just inking a sketch in Photoshop and then started experimenting a bit. When I removed the lines I liked the lineless version better, but then a texture saved the day and I ended up liking the lined one too. So here are both versions hooray.
